Glenn Coldenhoff Scores Strong Seventh at German GP

  |   MXGP

Glenn Coldenhoff of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team finished seventh at the MXGP of Germany. In the first heat he finished ninth despite a less than ideal start.  In the second race he battled for a top five position and eventually finished sixth.

“We knew coming into the weekend that starts here at Teutschenthal are very important. In the first race I got away badly, but battled my way up to ninth. I had a much better start in the second race, and we were jockeying for position. After settling in, I decided to opt for a safe finish rather than risk crashing. I could still pass Romain Febvre near the end to finish sixth, ” he commented.

Coldenhoff is currently seventh in the world standings. The series continues at Matterley Basin in the UK in two weeks’ time.
