Glenn Coldenhoff of the Red Bull KTM Factory Team was in great form at the international event at Hawkstone Park. He battled for the win in both races, and finished second overall. He rounded it off with second in the Superfinal. “Last week in Riola was nothing more than gaining race rhythm. My hand was still bothering me then, but today it was much better, and I was happy with the outing,” a satisfied Coldenhoff said.

Coldenhoff claimed tje holeshot in both races. In the first race, he lost the lead quickly to Jeffrey Herlings, but he kept the pressure on, fighting for the win to the very end. Max Anstie came by at one stage, but Glenn repassed him with a decisive move, and finished close behind the winner.

In the second race he led the field for a long time, but got passed near the end of the race. He fought back, but again finished second.

“I’m very happy with my outing today. I had big battles with Herlings, Anstie and Paulin, and that’s a good feeling. I always like racing at Hawkstone, and for me this was a positive day.”

Glenn made it a perfect triple of twos when he again finished second in the superfinal, underlining his strong form. His next outing is the international race at Marival in France next weekend.
